Board of Commissioners of Trust Funds
Minutes of the March 10, 2011 Meeting

Present:  Mayor Driscoll, Robert Lutts, Raymond Vaillancourt and Thaddeus Buczko

Mayor Driscoll called the meeting to order at 5:30 P.M.

The Salem Council on Aging submitted requests for medication expense reimbursement in the amount of $2,858.95.  Raymond Vaillancourt made a motion to approve the request from the Endicott Fund.  The motion was seconded by Thaddeus Buczko and voted unanimously.

The Brookhouse Home for Aged Women submitted a request for their Endicott Large Grant for medication expense in the amount of $1,326.87.  This is request does not require a vote.

Robert Hayes, organizer for the North Shore Concert Band free concerts at the Willows, submitted a request for their annual event.  Robert Lutts made a motion to approve $1,800.00 from the Browne Fund for concerts.  The motion was seconded by Raymond Vaillancourt and voted unanimously.  This request will be treated as part of the Large Grants for FY2012 and be distributed after July 1, 2011.  

Darwin Festival expenses for the Read Lecture series will be reviewed next month.

The Clerk will meet with Cheryl LaPointe, City Clerk to review new requirements
for public information and will also discuss current available information for residents about the City trust funds.  

Robert Lutts reviewed with Tax K1 information and determined it does not apply to the City trust funds.

Raymond Vaillancourt made a motion to approve the minutes of the February 10, 2011 meeting.  The motion was seconded by Thaddeus Buczko and voted unanimously.

The next meeting will be held on April 14, 2011.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 6:05 P.M.
